BOXER | CANCER WARRIOR | storyteller

I blog about my ongoing journey of self-acceptance,
the challenges of being audhd, and my experience as a writer.
I share my healing journey, how I kicked cancer's ass
and took my life back through boxing.

My Story

not just surviving -
winning the fight

Hi, I’m Corenne. I’ve lived through a few battles — cancer, self-doubt,
and learning to understand a neurodivergent brain that never quite fit the mould.
Boxing became my therapy, writing became my voice, and somewhere in between I found myself again.
Today, I write about healing, identity, and the messy, beautiful process of rebuilding life on my terms.
I share my stories with honesty, humour, and the occasional jab
(because what’s life without a little fight?).

The Blog

life. healing. writing.
one post at a time.

I write about the things that make us human —
the battles we fight quietly,
the laughter that sneaks in anyway,
and the lessons that come with starting over
(again and again).

My Writing

Stories That Heal. Stories That Hurt (in the Best Way).

Beyond the blog, I write fiction and memoir — stories rooted in truth, resilience, and survival.
My current project, Here Lies Vincent Jacobs, began as a short story and is slowly growing into a novel about secrets and revenge.
If you enjoy raw, emotional storytelling with a side of rebellion and reflection, this is where you’ll find it.

it is strength to laugh and
abandon oneself, to be light.
tragedy is the most ridiculous thing."

The Fight: Boxing and Cancer

How I Fought Back —
and Found Myself in the Ring

Cancer tried to take everything — my body, my strength, my fire.
Boxing gave it all back.
What started as physical recovery became something deeper: discipline, power, and self-belief.
Every punch was a reminder that I was still here, still capable, still fighting.
Now, the ring isn’t just where I train — it’s where I remember who I am.

we can endure much more
than we think we can."

healing isn't linear

It’s messy, unpredictable, and sometimes downright ridiculous.
But it’s also beautiful.
If my story resonates, come along for the ride.

— one punch and one page at a time.
